The theatre's giant screen is the largest in Utah and one of the largest in the world measuring 60 feet high and 82 feet across. Sound is delivered through an eight track digital Surround Sound system capable of 22,000 watts. The projection system shown below was designed by iWERKS Entertainment a world leader in large format film systems and simulated experience adventures. The iWERKS system delivers a screen image of unsurpassed clarity and impact.

The Zion Canyon Giant Screen Theatre is the final stop for the Springdale Town Shuttle. Park visitors will get off the town shuttle and cross the river into the park, where they will catch the park shuttle at the new Transportation Center.

The Zion Canyon Giant Screen Theatre shows movies shot in a film size called 15/70 which means it is a 70mm frame with 15 perforations per frame. Add High Definition Sound and the result moves through, around, and behind the audiences creating an amazing you are there feeling. We also show Hollywood films in the evening. These films are projected 9 times the regular size. Our new lenses give you a crystal clear picture, that allows you to experence the film on the Giant Screen.
